Method1: Setup Hotmail in Outlook 2016/2013/2010/2007
1. Open MS Outlook and click on File >> Add Account.

Method 2: Using Hotmail to Outlook Migrator

Steps to Transfer Emails from Hotmail to Outlook

1. Download the Connector. Then go to Control Panel and click on Mail Section >> Create a new account using connector to import Hotmail emails to Outlook
2. Click on Add and fill the required information like user name, email address and password. Now account will be automatically set up by Outlook.
3. If you want to create the account then Outlook connector is listed in Additional Server Types.
4. After the configuration of your computer, a data file will be created for Outlook.com. The file is default and it cannot move Hotmail.com to another data file.
5. The data file can be used by the account that created it. If you need other items like tasks, journals, etc, then you need to import Outlook.com emails to Outlook PST file. Contacts and calendars cannot be synced in Outlook.com folders. So to upload the data from the Server, then you need to copy move the folders.
6. Set up the account to use Outlook Connector. Open Outlook and click on File >> Account Settings >> New Account dialog >> Manually Configure Server Settings or Additional Server Types >> Next.
7. Select the option Outlook Connector and complete the process.

Method 4: SMTP/POP3 – Hotmail Outlook Server Configuration
1. To import Outlook.com emails to Outlook, open the application. Go to File and click on Add Account.
2. Click on Manual Setup or Additional Server Types >> Next >> Next.
3. Select POP and IMAP Account Settings, click on Next button.
4. Now fill all the details and click on More settings.
5. Now in Internet E-mail Settings, select Outgoing Server >> select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication >> fill the details and click on Advanced.
6. Select the check box Leave a copy of messages on the server and Remove from server after 14 Days (optional) and then click on OK.
7. Now click on Next.
8. You can see tasks with its status and click on Close.
9. Click on the Finish button to complete the setup. Now you can access your data files in MS Outlook.
Method 5: Convert Hotmail to Outlook by IMAP Configuration
1. Open MS Outlook and click on File >> Add Account.
2. Select Manual setup or additional server and then click on Next.
3. Select POP or IMAP radio button and click on Next.
4. Type all the details like user and login information.
5. Click on More Settings. In Internet E-mail Settings, select Outgoing Server tab >> My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication >> Advanced tab.
6. In the Advanced tab, type below mentioned information.
7. To return to POP and IMAP Account Settings window, Click on ok >> Next.
8. Click on Close and now you can access your data from Outlook.com.
Method 6: Add Hotmail to Outlook by EAS (Exchange ActiveSync Server)
1. Open MS Outlook. Go to File and then click on Add Account.
2. Select Manual setup or additional server and then click Next.
3. Click on Next to proceed.
4. In Server Settings, enter your account’s details.
5. Click on Next >> Close.
6. Click on Finish to complete the process.
